Shin Tseng

An award-winning Architectural and Interior Designer, with the endeavour of delivering inspiring projects on behalf of Clients and Partners, Shin Tseng has a proven track record of undertaking commercial, residential, hospitality, retail and refurbishment projects emphasised through throught-leadership and implementation in its interdisciplinary mode of driving projects by design.

Shin Tseng graduated with a distinction in Master of Architecture from The Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) London, with hands-on international project experience in master planning, hospitality, workspace, housing development and luxury residential design. He was involved several projects in Hong Kong, London, Guangzhou, Port Moresby and Melbourne before returning to Malaysia in 2012 to join IDEAWORKSHOP as Design Director. Notable projects are The Cullinan at Kowloon Station (Hong Kong), Lujiao District Master Planning (China), W Hotel & Residential Guangzhou (China), Anjaili North Kiara (Kuala Lumpur) and Bon Estates' pilot development The Estate in Bangsar South (Kuala Lumpur). He is particularly interested in multidisciplinary design practice that combines Master planning, Architecture, Interior Design and Placemaking. He is also the co-founder of REXKL, an adaptive-reuse of an old cinema into a cultural and creative hub aimed to be a catalyst in rejuvenating Downtown Kuala Lumpur.

David is a qualified Project Manager, who over the span of 15 years, has focused his career on project management, construction management, fit out management and strategic master planning. David has utilised these skills across a broad range of projects spanning retail, hotel, industrial, corporate office, food and beverage (F&B), residential, and infrastructure industries.

Equipped with a Master of Science in Project Management, David has delivered landmark projects within Malaysia, a role that requires expertise, leadership, eye for detail and on-site knowledge, allowing him to successfully oversee projects from conceptual design, base building construction, fit out management and authority approvals. With strong levels of communication and stakeholder management, David currently manages the delivery of multiple projects in the real estate portfolio.

David's range of experience has propelled him to the forefront of real estate development, construction and fit out within Asia and Australia. With strong track record of planning, designing, constructing and leading award winning and landmark projects; stakeholders have been able to realise project goals and achieve desired project results.
